Sold-out concert at Edinburgh Usher Hall forced to a halt after 'technical issues'
A sold-out gig at Edinburgh's Usher Hall was forced to come to a halt on Saturday night.
King Creosote performed at the venue on November 16 but was forced to reschedule the gig due to "technical issues".
A statement on Regular Music confirms the show experienced "intermittent crackling noises" throughout heard by the audience.

The show is set to be rescheduled to later in the year with all tickets for the original date remaining valid.
An online statement reads: "Dear King Creosote Folk, we apologised for the technical issues that we all experienced at the Usher Hall this evening.

"As you will have heard, there was an intermittent crackling noise coming through the PA and we made the decision to stop the show and reschedule for later this year.
"We will contact all ticket holders as soon as the new date is confirmed. Tickets for the original date will be valid for the new show and anyone unable to attend will be able to receive a refund from their point of purchase.

"Looking forward to seeing you all in December."
Many were quick to comment on the cancellation. One person said: "The band tried their best but the sound was awful. Can't make the rescheduled show unfortunately."
Another fan said: "I was there tonight King Creosote and the band tried their best. I will be back in December."
