Soldiers tore down National League for Democracy flags in Yangon’s Insein Township on March 17.
This footage was shared by a Yangon resident who requested anonymity. She said it was filmed at the Aung Zay Ya Housing complex. “These are the flags of our elected government party … Military terrorists destroyed these flags and the mini-store in this video,” she said.
Nationwide protests continued on Wednesday despite a crackdown by security forces, Myanmar Now reported.
At least 202 people had been killed and more than 2,000 arrested since the country’s military took power on February 1, the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners said. Credit: Anonymous via Storyful
