Somerset holiday park on 'idyllic' farm named the best in Britain
A Somerset holiday park on an "idyllic" organic farm hailed as a "perfect rural escape" has been named the best in Britain. Peckmoor Farm Lodges near Henley scooped the prestigious title at the annual Hoseasons awards.
It was also named Best Small Lodge Escape destination in Devon, Somerset & Dorset for the fourth year in a row by the staycation firm. The awards celebrated the holiday parks, lodge resorts and boating locations in the company’s UK portfolio that have achieved the highest scores in independent guest satisfaction surveys throughout the 2024 season.
The Crewkerne holiday park is part of Hoseasons’ Autograph collection – a collection of luxurious hot-tub lodge locations across the UK for couples looking for a short break. Prospective guests are told the "exceptional haven" is set within 350 acres of countryside. Hoseasons adds: "Home to animals including sheep and horses, you’ll fall in love with the relaxed pace of this idyllic organic farm. There are views of racehorses training and opportunities to watch lambing from the end of March to mid-May."
