English actor Sophie Turner first hit our screens as Sansa Stark in the 2011 HBO epic fantasy television series Game of Thrones (GOT). The role earned her an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2019. She also starred in two X Men films as Jean Grey.

While Sophie's professional career has seen success after success, sadly her personal life has had it's fair share of heartbreak. No more so than the breakdown of her marriage to pop star Joe Jonas from The Jonas Brothers.

The pair got together after Joe direct messaged Sophie on Instagram in 2016. They married a few years later, and between them had two children. However, the fairytale ended after four years, which led to a bitter divorce and accusations.

Joe filed for divorce in September 2023 and a day later, the pair posted messages on Instagram stating: "After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but truly this is a united decision."

The main argument in the divorce was a custody dispute over their two daughters, four-year-old Willa and two-year-old Delphine, who were born in the US but have dual citizenship. Sophie sued Joe over access to the girls' passports so they could join her in her England, however the custody battle was dropped as they reached a settlement.

A year later, the divorce was completed and a Florida judge Gina Beovides called the marriage "irretrievably broken" after signing off a confidential settlement over splitting assets, spousal support and custody of their children.

Currently, it's believed that Turner is romantically involved with Peregrine Pearson, who stands as the future custodian of the Viscount Cowdray legacy in Sussex.

Pearson, a University of West London alumnus with a degree in business, management, and marketing, is part of a family dynasty that boasts a considerable heritage worth upwards of £270 million.

The Pearson family has been innovatively repurposing substantial swathes of their holdings into lucrative ventures, including the reimagining of the Cowdray Estate into a hub comprising a polo club, farm shop, golf course, and holiday cottages.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Pearson took on the mantle of directorship at the Cowdray Estate in 2016 and extended his directorial duties to Weetman Developments in 2019.

Turner was first spotted sharing a public kiss with him in Paris last October, just months after her split from husband Joe Jonas.

While Turner has largely kept their relationship under wraps, she did share a series of photos on Instagram, including several snaps of him and one of them together. Before his relationship with the Game Of Thrones actress, Pearson had been romantically linked to Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, goddaughter of King Charles III.

Now, Turner admits that despite the struggles of being a single mother, it has helped her when she was preparing for her new role as Joan on ITV, which tells the real-life story of Joan Hannington - a mother trapped in a disastrous marriage and turns into the UK's moat notorious jewel thief.

The new drama will be airing tonight on ITV and ITV X at 9pm tonight (Sunday, September 29)
