• I mean...at least we got them together on the carpet at the American Music Awards?

Can you believe it’s been almost a whole year since Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello dropped their “Señorita” video? It honestly feels like a lifetime ago, especially because ever since that eventful moment in pop culture history, Shawn and Camila have been literally inseparable. Like, that’s not even an overstatement. First there was that time they made out like horny goats while swimming in Miami, and then there was that other time Camila took Shawn shopping for his birthday, and, oh yeah, that other other time they did lots of smooching courtside—I could go on.

Shawn and Camila have been attached at the hip for these past few months, but for whatever reason, tonight appears to be a different story. I hate to break it to you, Shamila shippers, but Shawn and Camila did not walk the Grammys red carpet together tonight. I’ll give you a moment.

Ugh, they look so good I could cry. Yeah, it’s a shame they didn’t walk together, but at least we got some red-carpet action from them at the 2019 American Music Awards:

Despite their steamy live performances, Shawn and Camila have been notoriously tight-lipped about their actual relationship. People have had a lot of thoughts about their love, with some people speculating that the entire thing is a PR stunt...but really, who can say? Maybe Shawn and Camila skipped this one to cool the rumors off!
