In the event that your interests right now exclusively include the alleged It Ends With Us cast drama, settle in because sources have finally spoken out about exactly what happened.

Quick background before we get into things: Fans have been spiraling due to Justin Baldoni doing almost no press with the rest of the It Ends With Us cast, despite directing and starring in the film. On top of that, most of the cast appears to have unfollowed him on Instagram. So yeah, obviously TikTok is busy doing this:

Cut to the Hollywood Reporter, who came through with source reporting on what actually went down. Insiders tell the outlet that "there was a fracture among the filmmakers in the post-production process, wherein two different cuts of the movie emerged."

They also spoke to "multiple sources" who said Blake Lively "commissioned a cut of the movie from editor Shane Reid," an editor on Deadpool & Wolverine (Reid also edited Taylor Swift's "I Bet You Think About Me" video, which Blake directed).

THR notes that it's "unclear" if any of this cut was used in the final film. But apparently "one insider played down any friction" since it's "not uncommon" for a movie to have several cuts "emerge during post" and that ultimately everyone was in "agreement" on the final cut for It Ends With Us.

It's also unclear why this editing drama (or, "fracture among the filmmakers") would lead to the entire cast seemingly unfollowing Justin Baldoni, buuut yeah. That's the latest!
