Classic movie The Craft will be screened at Lavery’s bar on 27 October and the final spooky film is a family affair with Hocus Pocus at Ballynafeigh Community Development Association where children are invited to make Witch and Wizards hats in the pre-screening arts and crafts session.
In partnership with Motel X - Lisbon International Horror Festival, the community cinema will also play host to acclaimed Portuguese film Director Carlos Conceição who will come to Belfast for the first time for a Q&A following screenings of two of his films: Name Above Title and Bad Bunny.
Festival Director Siân Parry said: “We’re so excited to be launching our autumn programme. We’ve seen ‘Paranormeau Activity grow the last few years and take a firm place in the calendar for film fans young and old.
“As a community group, it’s part of our ethos that we offer low-priced events so that everyone can enjoy a trip to the cinema and feel more connected to their community.
"We are grateful to the venues for hosting us and we are delighted to have grown in volunteers the last year too enabling us to bring even more events to the local community.”
