South Belfast restaurant to close its doors as it hopes to find new location close to city centre
A South Belfast restaurant will close in the coming months as it announces plans to find a new premises close to the city centre.
Cú, a popular Mexican restaurant on the Lisburn Road has announced that it will be closing its doors at the end of its current lease, with owners hoping to reopen at a new location closer to Belfast city centre in the new year.
In a statement on social media, Cú thanked all of its customers for their support over the past few years and hope to celebrate there time on the Lisburn Road in the coming weeks before it closes on November 2.

It will be running a 'Cú Classics' menu during that time and are asking customers to let them know their favourite dishes to add to it.
Cú said: "As we approach the end of our current lease on the Lisburn Road, we have made the decision not to renew as we’ve decided to try and find a location closer to the city centre hopefully some time next year.
"We’ve had the best time ever in south Belfast and we’re truly grateful for everyone who came and made Cu everything it was.
"But as always, there’s a silver lining: for the next number of weeks we’re going back to why you all fell in love with Cu in the 1st place and running a ‘Cu Classics’ menu with all your favourite tacos, dishes and drinks. Anything you want to see on it? Let us know.
"Your last chance for a fiesta at 635 Lisburn Road will be 2nd November 2024 after that it’s Caio… for now!"
