South Norfolk Resident Surveys Flood Damage to Home

A resident in South Norfolk, England, shared footage of flood water damage to their home after heavy rainfall led to flash flooding on December 23 and 24.

The Eastern Daily Press reported parts of South Norfolk and the Broads saw a month’s worth of rain fall in just 24 hours on December 23, resulting in flash flooding that forced families to stay in hotels overnight.

The Met Office put a flood alert in force for the upper Rivers Yare, Tiffey, Tas and Wacton, which includes Hempnall, for December 24.
