A man has died after being fatally stabbed outside a shop in west London.

The victim, believed to be in his early 20s, was found with knife injuries outside the shop on The Broadway in Southall at around 4am on Monday, Scotland Yard said.

He was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead at 5.26am, police said.

The victim has not been formally identified and no arrests have yet been made.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said inquiries into how the victim sustained his injuries are ongoing.

A large crime scene remains in place
