Chelsea are taking on Southampton at St Mary’s this afternoon.

The Blues are back in the top four and hoping to stay there this weekend with victory here.

They are on a strong run under new manager Thomas Tuchel and are yet to lose under his coaching, while Timo Werner has finally found his shooting boots.

But Saints could prove a tricky test, despite their poor form, having looked much sharper in their recent defeat by Wolves and with the always dangerous Danny Ings fit and firing.

Here is everything you need to know.

When is the game?

Southampton vs Chelsea kicks off today at 12.30pm GMT.

How can I watch it?

The match will be broadcast live on BT Sport in the UK. Subscribers can stream the game online via the BT Sport website and the BT Sport app.

What is the team news?

Prediction

Southampton are on a woeful run of form but they have shown signs of life in recent weeks, and performed well in the opening 45 minutes against Wolves last time out. Expect them to compete well here and perhaps pull off something of a surprise. Southampton 2-2 Chelsea.
