Southampton vs Tottenham: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results - preview today

Tottenham are building momentum under Antonio Conte and will be looking to build on an excellent win over Crystal Palace as they travel to Southampton this afternoon.

While the Conte era has been a somewhat stop-start one at Spurs for a number of reasons thus far, they are unbeaten under his watch in the competition and look good value to finish in the top four come the end of the campaign.

Now, we are starting to see Spurs in his mould.

Indeed, Harry Kane is back amongst the goals and Lucas Moura appears to have had a new lease of life under the Italian, making them a daunting foe for most Premier League teams at the moment.

Southampton, however, could well be buoyed by their dramatic Boxing Day win over West Ham United and can certainly cause problems when at their best.

Date, kick-off time and venue

The Premier League game is scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off time today, Tuesday, December 28, 2021.

St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton will host it.

Southampton vs Tottenham prediction

Southampton, at their best, can give any team problems. Still, they were missing key players prior to the Boxing Day win over West Ham due to Covid and do not have the biggest squad in the world to cope with playing two games in such quick succession.

Spurs, on the other hand, look to be riding a crest of a wave under Conte.

Spurs to win 2-0.
