Southport's Festive Fun Day returns this weekend with a packed schedule. On Saturday, November 23, hundreds are expected to descend on Southport town centre for a range of entertainment and activities.

The events take place on Lord Street with local dance groups, character shows, pantomime performances, and three guest appearances. TV personality Gemma Collins will spread festive cheer alongside chart topper Lemar and the band behind the smash hit Dancing in the Moonlight, Toploader. The latter two will bring the event to a close with a "captivating finale".

The event will be hosted by Southport performer Kelly Bond, and Alex Toal of Greatest Hits Radio, who will entertain the crowds with a DJ set later in the day. Festive fairground attractions include face painting and creative workshops suitable for all ages.

1pm: Magic Movers, Funky Monkees, The Dance Place, Snow White (by Southport Dramatic Club), The Dance Place, Zanobini Academy of Performing Arts, Frozen Singalong Show (by Regally Royal)
2pm: Voice Plus Academy Of Arts, DBA School of Dance / Baby Ballet, Sleeping Beauty (by KD Theatre), Sereno School of Dance, Express Performing Arts
3pm: Gemma Collins, The Grinch, Cinderella (by All Souls Dramatic Club), King’s School of Dance, Wright’s Performing Arts, Central Dance and Drama
4pm: Lemar
5pm: Alex Toal DJ Set, Toploader

Visitors can enjoy festive markets at The Atkinson and Cambridge Walks, Christmas Grotto’s at The Vincent Hotel and Wayfarers Arcade, as well as more to be announced in the coming days. The Musical Light Show will play in the Town Hall Gardens hourly from 7pm.
