SpaceX Launches EchoStar Satellite From NASA's Kennedy Space Center

A SpaceX Falcon rocket successfully launched a communications satellite into orbit from NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida on Wednesday, October 11.

The recycled first stage launcher landed safely on a landing ship while the second stage carried on to space with its cargo, EchoStar 105/SES-11, a satellite that will beam high definition TV to viewers across North America and the Caribbean. Credit: SpaceX via Storyful
