Spain weather maps have turned icy white as a brutal cold snap looks to send temperatures plunging. New weather maps from WX Charts, which uses Met Desk data, shows Spain, in the European Union, bracing for a brutal cold snap.

Temperatures are expected to tumble across the country on Friday, October 4. In the northern regions, cities like Valladolid and Salamanca will wake up to a chilly morning, with temperatures hovering around 5C, the maps show.

Bilbao and Zaragoza will also see the mercury drop to around 10C, with capital city Madrid around 12C. Seville will drop to 13C, while Malaga will see minimums of around 16C, which is a far cry from the normal autumn levels.
