Spanish Military Disinfects 57 Towns as Coronavirus Death Toll Passes 1,000

Spain’s Military Emergencies Unit is continuing to clean and disinfect public spaces such as airports, hospitals and train stations as it tries to get a handle on the coronavirus outbreak.

The death toll from the virus in Spain passed 1,000 on Friday, March 20, with almost 20,000 people infected, El Pais said.
