The dramatic video, shot in the city of Mianyang in Sichuan Province on April 7, shows a car suddenly speeding into the guardrails in the middle of a road. The car then rolled along the road continuously before it moved out of view. According to reports, the motorist suddenly launched his car to escape a police checkpoint as he was drunk. However, the car then lost control and smashed into the guardrails. Since the motorist named Yin wore a seatbelt, he only suffered minor injuries. He was confirmed to be driving under the influence.
