Spencer Matthews Quits Made In Chelsea After Steroid Shame

It has been reported that Spencer Matthews has quit reality show Made In Chelsea - just three months after he dropped out of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here after admitting that he was taking steroids.

Ooft.

The posh toff has been a popular figure in five series of the E4 show, but now sources say that Spencer has made the choice to walk away in a bid to pursue other career opportunities.

An insider explained: “Spencer won’t return for the next series of ‘Made In Chelsea’ which has just started filming.”

The source added to The Star newspaper: “It’s a massive loss to the E4 show because Spencer is undoubtedly its biggest and best-known character. Viewers just love to hate him.”

Spencer most famously hit the headlines back in November when he was unceremoniously removed from ITV’s I’m A Celebrity after just three days in the Aussie jungle.

Producers learned that the star had a secret steroid addiction, which Spencer was quick to confirm. He has kept a low profile ever since - even taking a vow of silence on social media.

However, Spencer’s brief jungle pal, Vicky Pattison, recently revealed that the 27-year-old was keeping busy by doing good in Tanzania, sharing: “I still haven’t managed to see Spencer yet because he’s away in Tanzania teaching kids English and building an orphanage.

"He obviously felt really bad about everything, and wanted to get away and give something back.”

Chelsea definitely isn’t going to be the same without him.
