Yahoo News Spice Girls star Geri Horner apologises for leaving the band
The moment that long-time Spice Girls fans have been waiting for has arrived (aside from their massive reunion tour of course).
Geri Horner, aka Ginger Spice, has apologised for quitting the group way back in 1998 and breaking fans' hearts, saying that she was being a "brat" when she left.
She made the announcement during the band's final date of their tour at Wembley Stadium last night (June 15), declaring: "I need to say something I should have said a long time ago.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I left. I was just being a brat. It is so good to be back with the girls that I love."
She made the speech just before the group sang 'Goodbye', the single that addressed her departure from the Spice Girls, making it a pretty emotional moment all round.
There were more tears from Emma Bunton during 'Viva Forever', while another emotional moment came when the girls brought their mothers and children out on stage for their performance of 'Mama'.
The setlist also included their hits 'Wannabe', 'Stop', 'Who Do You Think You Are?' and '2 Become 1'.
If you want to 'Spice Up Your Life' even more, it's been confirmed that an animated Spice Girls movie is definitely happening.
Paramount has confirmed that it will feature the voices of all five members and that the group's manager Simon Fuller is producing, while Legally Blonde's Karen McCullah and Kiwi Smith are writing the script.
The movie, which sees the girls become superheroes, is due for release at some point in 2020.
