Spice Girls tickets for new tour dates: How to be a part of the extra reunion shows

The Spice Girls have added five more dates to their 2019 comeback tour — including two extra shows in London.

Demand for the initial run of shows had seen extraordinary demand, with tickets selling out within minutes and crashing vendor websites.

They had already announced plans to perform once at Wembley Stadium, but have now added a couple of extra dates, on June 13 and 14.

The Spice Girls have also revealed new concerts in Manchester and Coventry. They will be joined by special guest Jess Glynne for the shows, although original member Victoria Beckham will not be taking part.

The shows will mark their first headline dates since 2008.

"We are beyond excited to be reuniting next year for a stadium tour," the group said in a statement.

"Bringing girl power and our message of friendship and love back to the stage feels more relevant than ever. We hope everyone can join us for one big Spice Girls party."

Mel B spoke about Beckham's absence on the tour on Loose Women, saying: "It’s just the four of us, but she might join us at some point. I hope so. I think it would be a shame if she didn’t.

"I don’t know why [she said no]. She’s got a full on life with her commitments and the fashion line and her kids so she’s not committing just yet. I’m hoping it’ll change."

Mel B previously made a dig at Beckham by dressing up as Posh Spice for Halloween and carrying a sign brandishing the words: "NO I AM NOT GOING ON TOUR."

Spice Girls’ Geri Halliwell devastated fans in 1998 when she announced she was leaving the group, causing one of the biggest musical shocks of the 90s.

Spice Girls carried on as a four-piece until 2000, until they announced a hiatus that lasted until 2007.

The group gave their last headline show during the reunion tour in Toronto back in 2008, although they also reunited briefly for the Olympics closing ceremony in 2012.

They are one of the most successful UK groups of all time, having sold 85 million records around the world.
