Spicer: Obama administration renewed Flynn’s security clearance despite concerns

In the daily briefing on Monday, press secretary Sean Spicer answered questions about President Trump’s hiring of Gen. Michael Flynn as national security adviser despite warnings from former President Barack Obama. Spicer says that if the Obama administration was “truly concerned” about Flynn, there were steps it could have taken to limit Flynn’s role.
