Spider-Man: No Way Home star Jamie Foxx has broken his silence following his recent hospitalisation.

The actor was admitted to hospital last month, with his daughter Corinne revealing he had been taken to hospital after an unspecified "medical complication". Three weeks later, Foxx has now shared a brief update with his followers via Instagram.

"Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed," he wrote.

Several famous faces responded to wish him well, including Hawkeye's Jeremy Renner, who recently recovered from a snowplough accident, who commented: "Sending you strength and love", whilst Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel sent a praying emoji.

Jumanji's Kevin Hart also shared an update on his friend's progress on Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast, and though he revealed he did not know specific details of the medical emergency, he does know that Foxx is recovering well.

"They're [Foxx's family] being tight, for reasons, just about where he is, because Jamie's always been a private person to a certain degree.

"He's getting better in his situation, and you know, everybody's prayers, everybody's love, energy – all that stuff is seen and felt. To my knowledge there's a lot of progression and a world of better, man.

"So you know, my love, synergy, energy goes out to him. He's needed, he's necessary. I know that he knows that, and I know that he feels that because there's been an outcry, an outpour of support in this regard. So, I can only hope that it continues."

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released in cinemas on June 2. Spider-Man: No Way Home is available now on Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and other digital retailers.
