Spontaneous Glasgow street boogie breaks out in chaotic clip on Buchanan Street
'Glasgow at its best' is how some have described a viral clip showing Glaswegians boogying in the streets — with a woman dressed as the Pope.
The chaotic clip, taken earlier this week on Buchanan Street, shows revellers dancing arm-in-arm in the street as a busker belts out Shakira's 'Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)', famed as the soundtrack of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The dancers sing along at the very top of their voices.
Those who were involved were seen to be in hysterics as more and more joined in, while others gathered to film the scenes. Despite not being a conventional Christmas song, it was still a festive scene, with decorations and fairy lights seen scattered around nearby, as reported by the Daily Record.

Jacqui Finlayson, joked: "Nice to see the pope joining in." Pearl Shields said: "Glasgow people are the most friendliest people in the world they always make everyone welcome into their beautiful city."
Karen Woodhead laughed: "Just a typical day shopping in Glasgow!" And Mark Mcgill added: "Glasgow is just fun always something going on. Never had a bad day or night ever!"
