A Question of Sport's Matt Dawson and his wife Carolin Hauskeller have separated after 11 years.
Dawson explained that their relationship "needs a new direction", but they will continue to co-parent their two kids Alex and Sami.
"We know this will be a surprise to most but after 11 years together Carolin and I have decided our relationship needs a new direction, bringing our marriage to an end," he wrote. "The love for our beautiful boys grows stronger day by day as does our friendship as co-parents.
"To our dear friends please continue to support us as positively as you can for the next stage of our lives. It's vital that Alex and Sami understand that we will always be a united family."
Dawson and Hauskeller married in 2011 after two years of dating.
Elsewhere, former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Alex Scott recently denied rumours that she's set to replace Sue Barker as the host of A Question of Sport.
In a Twitter post on Friday (September 18), the former footballer thanked those who have supported her through some of the recent abuse she's received from racist trolls, while also suggesting that she's yet to sign a deal for the BBC quiz show.
"The love & support shown to me yesterday has me smiling through the weekend #thankyou I am going to #keeponkeepingon like always!" she tweeted.
"The only thing that is signed sealed delivered that I am buzzing about right now though is... @Aubameyang7 @Arsenal #COYG."
A Question of Sport airs on BBC One.
