Spotify Wrapped 2024: What is it and how do you access it? Everything you need to know as music fans' favourite drops
The wait is over, Spotify Wrapped is officially here!
From today, users of the popular music platform will be able to look back at their year in tunes and see their most listened-to sonds and artists. Wrapped gives fans a summary of their music habits over the past year, including top artists, songs, genres, albums and listening time.
The launch of Spotify Wrapped is always hotly-anticipated and has become an important part of the Christmas period for music lovers across the globe since its launch in 2016.

It has become a popular trend to share your Spotify Wrapped to social media and compare your listening with your friends.
Spotify Wrapped also shares quirky data-driven facts about your listening habits, including what colour your music aura is, what region their taste is similar to, and whether they're in the top 1 per cent of any given artist's listeners.
The music platform will create a presentation for each user which shows their own personal listening trends. For example, how many times did they listen to Beyonce's album Cowboy Carter? Or did they have Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande's version of Popular from the new Wicked movie on repeat?
Taylor Swift took the top spot as the most streamed artist in the UK this year for the second time running.
How to access Spotify Wrapped?
You should be greeted with a pop-up as you launch the app. If you go onto Spotify and can't see it, make sure you have the most updated version of the app. For another look, simply select the Wrapped icon on the home screen.
