December is fast approaching, which means it's almost time for Spotify Wrapped 2024. Every year, the music-streaming app offers fans a deep dive into their most-played songs, artists and podcasts of their past 12 months.

The personalised feature, which launched in 2016, has become an annual viral craze thanks to people keen to share off their listening habits.

Although Wrapped is exclusive to Spotify, other streaming platforms provide alternative end of-year recaps. Whether you use Apple Music, YouTube Music or Deezer, here's how you can relive your music journey this year.

Apple Music's alternative to Wrapped is available every month, not just once a year, making it ideal for listeners who want to dig into more data. It creates a playlist of their 100 most-played songs, called the Replay Mix, and reveals how long they've spent listening.

Alt-pop star Billie Eilish was named Artist of the Year by the streaming service. The 22-year-old said: "Since day one, Apple Music has supported my music and artistry, and I am both honoured and humbled to receive this recognition as Artist of the Year this many years into my career."

Were you "mellow", "amped" or "moody" this year? YouTube Music's Recap assigns users a "music character" that reflects their listening history, and generates a personalised musical timeline looking back at key moments from 2024. For the first time, the app also includes a rundown of subscribers' most-played podcasts.

Deezer's 2024 round-up, My Deezer Year, lets users be "roasted" or "hyped-up" based on their music taste. It also includes a quiz that tests how well their friends and family know their listening habits.

Taylor Swift was named the app's most-streamed artist worldwide, beating French super-DJ David Guetta, singer-songwriter The Weeknd and Eilish. US musician Teddy Swims' breakout single Lose Control was the most popular track globally, while Eilish's album Hit Me Hard and Soft was crowned the most-played LP.
