Spurned lover tries to push woman under moving train after she refused to marry him

A CCTV camera at a station in northwestern India has captured the moment a man tried to push a woman under a moving train after she refused to marry him. The footage, which was captured at Khar station in Mumbai on February 19, shows the suspect drag the woman across the platform before trying to shove her beneath a moving train carriage. Concerned commuters rush over and the man flees the scene. The woman survived the brutal attack with injuries to the head and needed 12 stitches. Police arrested the suspect who they have named as Sumedh Jadhav. According to police, Jadhav and the woman worked together for two years. Jadhav allegedly became enraged when she refused his offer of marriage citing his alcoholism.
