Sri Lankan Navy Remove Flood Debris Blocking Bridge

More than 2,000 troops have been deployed to assist in Sri Lanka’s flood relief efforts.

This video, from May 29, shows Sri Lankan Navy personnel clearing debris from a clogged bridge in Pitabeddara, in the country’s south.

According to a report from Times Online, 71 personnel were dispatched to the bridge, which was clogged with fallen trees as a result of flash floods.
