Stabbing outside McDonald's puts man in hospital

A 24-year-old man needed hospital treatment after he was stabbed outside a city McDonald's.

Police were called to an incident outside McDonald's in Blackpole Retail Park, Worcester at around 11.30pm on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "A 24-year-old man had been assaulted with a knife.

"His injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing and he was treated in hospital and released.

"Two men, a 21-year-old from Worcester and a 26-year-old from Droitwich, have been arrested on suspicion of GBH and are in custody while investigations are ongoing."
