Stable diet: Man goes for McDonald's drive-thru on horseback
This is the moment a man tried to ride a HORSE through a McDonald’s drive-thru.
Bemused customers were surprised to see the rider trotting up to the kiosk to place his order – but unfortunately he was told a firm ‘neigh’ by Macca’s staff who ordered him to dismount and come inside.
The bizarre scene unfolded at around 1pm on Thursday at McDonald’s in Beccles, Suffolk.
Jason Barrett, 43, was queuing for his lunch at the time and admits he was suprised to see the scene unfold.
He said: “I had to do a double take because you don’t see that every day.
“But I looked around and no one seemed to be bothered, I just thought people must be used to it.
“He went to make his order and a member of staff came out to talk to him and said ‘you can’t do this, you have to go in and order – the drive-thru is only for cars’.”

Jason then watched the rider trot to the parking bay, dismount and tie up his horse.
The digital and social marketing consultant said: “He just parked his horse up and walked in to get his coffee instead.
“[Then] he got back on the horse and just trotted off across the grass with his latte.
“Apparently he rode his horse to Tesco to get his shopping the other day.
“The horse was just waiting for him to get his shopping and they went off.”
