Stacey Dooley confirmed as Strictly Come Dancing tour host for 2020

Stacey Dooley has been announced as the tour host for Strictly Come Dancing the live tour.

The presenter, 32, was unveiled as the new host after winning the competition with her dance partner and boyfriend, Kevin Clifton, last year.

She will be taking over from previous winner Ore Oduba and will join many of the celebrities and professionals from the current series of Strictly when they embark on 32 performances around the country.

Speaking about the upcoming tour, Stacey Dooley said: "I’m so excited to be joining the Strictly gang again and can’t wait to experience it from a different perspective! I’m really looking forward to hosting the tour as I know it’ll be a blast.

"I had such an amazing time last year, I hope I’ll find a way to get those dancing shoes back on again too.”

Stars for this year’s series include Anneka Rice, Catherine Tyldesley, David James and James Cracknell. Those who will take part in the tour will be confirmed in due course.

Next year’s tour will see “a special relaxed performance” in association with the National Autistic Society at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham.

The tour will also expand to the Aberdeen’s P&J Live Arena for the first time and will return to Dublin at the 3Arena.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on 20 September (Ticketmaster pre-sale from 17 September). The Relaxed Performance will go on sale at 9am on Thursday September 26.
