Presenter Stacey Solomon is reportedly considering buying a second house for her family - but the star fears being labelled as greedy as the former X Factor contestant tries to set her family up for life.

Buying a second property is not uncommon among celebrities, but with the rise of social media scrutiny, Stacey is concerned about potential backlash as a source told Heat: "Stacey wants to be smart about her money and invest. But she's terrified that she'll be labelled greedy."

The source added: "She knows it's still a difficult time with many people struggling, especially when it comes to buying a home and she can imagine the online commenters saying things like, 'Alright for some', in a sarcastic tone if she does get another property."

One reason for contemplating a second property, according to the same source, is for her family: "Stacey feels it would be a wise idea to expand her property portfolio, as when the kids start leaving home they could use it as a base or a bolt-hole.

"She hates the idea of her kids growing up and her becoming an empty nester...she would feel more comfortable...if her older kids had a base near her," reports the Express.

The Loose Women star Stacey Solomon faced criticism on social media after she and her husband Joe Swash took a trip to Turkey, staying at a 5-star resort in Antalya. Some followers were quick to condemn the couple's choice of destination due to recent claims of animal cruelty in the country.

The Mirror highlighted the backlash with one follower reportedly stating: "Google the new law that was passed there at the end of July. They are poisoning them, beheading them, setting fire to shelters, there are huge mass graves. I have two Turkish rescue dogs, and loved Turkey until this law was passed. There are heartbreaking videos on TikTok etc."

Another added: "I'm really sorry to pop the holiday fun bubble but Turkey has just passed a law to euthanise stray dogs (4 million I think). No matter how much fun it looks, I wouldn't step foot there knowing what they are doing to animals."

Despite the negative comments, Stacey didn't hold back in her praise for the resort, acknowledging that she had received a discount for her stay.

She clarified her partnership with the resort, saying: "I'm going to put AD on every frame that I tag the hotel in because I did get money off through Super Connector and I also worked with Jet 2 earlier in the year and so got some vouchers, so I used them and got money off."

"It's actually the same hotel we came to last year. It is a really expensive hotel, but we loved it so much."
