Stacey Solomon appears to be reconsidering her "five-year plan", as she grapples with juggling her thriving career, Instagram following and family life. The TV presenter confessed she has dreams of stepping away from her fame to focus on her family.

The mum-of-five told Caroline Hirons on the Glad We Had This Chat podcast that she wants to step away from the spotlight to focus on raising her children with partner Joe Swash. During the discussion, Stacey admitted: "This year, when my team asked me my five-year goals, I was like 'I want to be a stay at home mum.' That is my dream, my ultimate dream. I just want to be with my kids."

A source close to the television world mentioned that Stacey is feeling torn over numerous upcoming engagements. The Mirror reports the TV personality is reported to have some worries about possible backlash if she's perceived as prioritising her career above everything else.

One insider revealed to Closer: "Stacey is the first to admit she is a total chatterbox and will often get carried away when she's being interviewed or talking about personal things on Loose Women.

"She's been wincing over her comments that she's going to give up her career to be a stay-at-home mum as it's not strictly true."

The source also suggested that Stacey is grappling with a "growing heap of projects". She is reportedly hesitant about making a choice between professional pursuits and time spent with her family.

Renowned for their "blended family," Stacey and Joe are parents to children Zachary, 16 and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships as well as Rex, five, Rose, two, and Belle, 15 months, with Joe. Joe also has an older son, Harry, 16, from a past relationship.

After her rise to fame on the X Factor in 2009, Stacey has made a name for herself as a Loose Women panellist and host of popular shows like "Stacey Solomon's Renovation Rescue". With a successful social media presence boasting 5.9 million followers on Instagram, the mum-of-three capitalises on making an astonishing estimated £12,000 per sponsored post for brands.

However, the last festive period saw the celebrity encounter criticism when she jetted her family off for a luxurious Caribbean holiday, prompting her to tell critics to "unfollow" her. There have been hints that Stacey harbours concerns over being "cancelled" or labelled a "fraud".

Sources reveal that the TV presenter fears causing any upset among her dedicated "hardworking" fans, feeling that it's impossible for her to "can't win" when sharing her opinions.
