Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash to be UK's 'answer' to The Kardashians in new BBC1 show

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are to have their own TV programme as the UK's answer to The Osbornes and The Kardashians. The singer and TV personality announced that the new show, titled 'Escape to Pickle Cottage', will be the BBC next year, promises to be a fly-on-the-wall series set in the couple's Essex residence.

As reported by the Mirror, the former X-Factor and I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here star and her former Celebrity Masterchef contestant husband, will let cameras into their home for the show.

A source told the newspaper: "It might be chaos but it's organised chaos! Everyone's excited to see what the cameras will find. It's really going to be a lot of fun. Everyone is delighted they agreed to let the cameras in and this will be something a bit different for BBC1."

Stacey, a regular panellist on ITV's Loose Women met Joe Swash back in 2016, each bringing children from previous relationships into the relationship. Stacey's children include Zachary and Leighton while Joe's lad Harry.

In May 2019, Solomon gave birth to their first child together, a boy. Swash and Solomon got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2020, after being together for five years. In July 2021 the pair announced they were expecting a baby girl.

On October 5, 2021 Stacey announced on Instagram that the baby had been born and on July 24 the following year, the couple were married in a small ceremony held at their home, Pickle Cottage, in Essex. On December 28 that year Solomon announced she was eight months pregnant with her fifth child and third with Swash. The couple announced the birth of their second daughter on February 11, 2023

Since being together, the couple have made changes to their home to accommodate their growing family. The family have settled into a £1.2million Tudor-style cottage surrounded by 2.5 acres of picturesque gardens, complete with an outdoor swimming pool and charming duck pond.
