Stacey Solomon 'can't stop laughing' as she ends up on Michelle Obama's Instagram

In a crossover nobody saw coming, former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama has featured Loose Women star and social media sensation Stacey Solomon on her Instagram account.

It came as Obama posted letters of gratitude to her feed written to frontline workers in the coronavirus pandemic, including one from a youngster who wanted to pay tribute to their mother, an NHS nurse and apparent fan of Solomon.

The handwritten note read: "Dear Mum, This coronavirus has everyone going crazy. However, we wouldn't be getting through it without nurses like you on the NHS.

"Well done for being so strong, tomorrow is a new day, get some sleep, relax and let Stacy Solomon get you giggling,. We love you!!!."(sic)

Solomon has gained a reputation for her funny insights on Instagram as well as her cleaning hacks and tips and boasts over 3 million followers, but she couldn't quite believe what had happened and neither could her partner Joe Swash.

Re-sharing Obama's post on her Instagram Stories, the mother-of-three wrote: "So many of you are tagging me in this...me and Hoe can't stop laughing that I'm on Michelle Obama's grid."

"Does anyone know who wrote this? It's so beautiful and warmed my heart and I'd love to say thank you," she added.

However, she was under no illusion that the author was aware of who she was as Solomon continued: "I'm 100% sure the queen has no idea who I am but it's made my day none the less."
