In an inspirational new post on Instagram, the 29-year-old singer and Loose Women panellist likened stretch marks on her chest to the “silver strings” of a guitar and revealed they help her newborn fall asleep.
The smiling star could be seen holding her three-month-old little boy - who she welcomed with boyfriend Joe Swash in May - in her arms, while lying down and proudly showing off the post-pregnancy marks.
Captioning the image, she wrote: “I know for a fact he wouldn’t settle half as quickly on me if he didn’t have some stretch marks to strum like a guitar every night when he settles for his night sleep.
“He plays those silver strings until he’s snoring!”
Stacey urged her followers to not see natural things like stretch marks as something to dislike.
“It brings me so much joy,” she added.
“There’s so many positives to what the world wants us to see as negatives."
The new mum - who also has two sons, Zachary, 11, and Leighton, 7, from a previous relationship - was praised for her openness about her changing body.
To date, the post has been ‘liked’ over 174,000 times and has received more than 2,000 comments.
One person wrote: "Every one needs a Stacey Solomon in their life."
Another commented: "Wishing the world was more like you :) enjoy those moments."
A third shared: "I love your attitude towards everything Stacey but especially how you embrace the things we’ve all been conditioned to hate about ourselves.
"I’ve always been embarrassed by my cellulite and stretch marks. I’d love not to be bothered."
Stacey has become known for championing body confidence.
Last week, she shared a picture of herself in a bikini taking a dip in the sea on holiday while cradling Rex.
The mum-of-three wrote: “I love my body. Every bit of it.
“Even the bits that society says shouldn’t be there.
“Because EVERY bit of it came together to make him. And Zachary. And Leighton.
“Cellulite is beautiful, back bumps add character and tummy ledges are great for resting a baby on.”
