Since she and partner Joe Swash welcomed their first child into the world, Stacey Solomon has been keeping things real on social media - discussing everything from breastfeeding to sleep routines. Now, she’s opened up about her fear of having a bath three weeks after giving birth.

Sharing a snapshot of a self-care hamper she had been gifted by Champney’s Spa on Instagram, the Loose Women star wrote: "Definitely going to attempt to have a bath today.

“I am worried for my noon but apparently it's all healed and ready to bath wahoo!"

Later, she took to her Instastory to “rant” about how baby Rex had wanted feeding six times in the night.

“Last night was hell,” she joked, looking blearily-eyed at the camera. “How can one baby eat so much, so often? I didn’t even have to time to express in between. Help me!”

Her recent posts come just days after she told her 1.8m followers that she was “extremely proud” of how well her sons Zachary, 11, and Leighton, 7 are adjusting to the family’s latest addition.

“Feel like I’ve neglected the boys over the last few weeks, trying to get into a feeding pattern. I’ve now got to the point where I can’t expect them to entertain themselves any longer.

The fact they’ve been so amazing and understanding has made it a lot easier for me,” she went on. “But [it’s] also meant the guilt has set in a little stronger because they’re so bloomin’ good.”

She went on to add that she hadn’t ventured out of the house properly since Rex was born, saying that “the thought of having to wear actual clothes and interact with other humans is really daunting.”

She has been praised by her fans for being so honest about her post-pregnancy journey.

Rex Toby Francis Swash was born on 23 May, two weeks earlier than planned. At the time, Swash wrote on Instagram: “We are overwhelmed, overjoyed and apprehensive of what’s to come.

“We are so grateful for all of the love, support and positivity we’ve received over the last 8 months. I’m lost for words to describe how I’m feeling. So for now, I’m going to spend the next few days and the rest of my life falling more in love with these two humans. I didn’t think it possible but, today I witnessed the impossible.

“My partner, My love, my life, you are a super human. I am forever in awe.”
