Stacey Solomon unimpressed after Joe Swash accidentally reveals their wedding date

Watch: Joe Swash let's slip his wedding date on Loose Women

Stacey Solomon was not impressed with fiancé Joe Swash after he accidentally revealed the exact date of their wedding live on Loose Women.

The couple appeared on a special edition of Loose Women today — called Loose Loved One— joined by another on-screen couple: Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

During a segment on the best wedding day advice for newly-engaged couples, the conversation turned to Swash and Solomon’s big day, after the couple got engaged over Christmas.

Questioning whether he was allowed to reveal the date of their upcoming nuptials, Swash asked his fiancée: “Stacey are we allowed to say? I never know!”

To which she poked fun at him saying: “You wouldn’t know the date even if we were allowed to say!”

“Yes, the date is going to be the last Sunday in July,” Swash told Langsford and Holmes, while Solomon looked on in disbelief.

Sitting with her head in her hands as Swash giggled, Solomon exclaimed: “Oh my God, why did I bring you here?!”

Holmes jumped in to ease the tension, jokingly getting his phone out of his pocket, declaring that he and Langsford would like to be put on the guest list on 25 July.

“I’m looking up my diary, we’re free love.”

To which Langsford retorted: “We’re free, I’ll get my hat!”

Later on in the show when conversation turned back to the details of their big day, Holmes once again went to state the date, with Langsford cutting in to save Swash by saying, “He’s in enough trouble as it is!”

Langsford and Holmes, 61, who have been married for a decade and together for 24 years, then went on to give the Swash and Solomon some advice on how to spend their big day.

One tip, which seemed very fitting after the impact of the pandemic, was to take a moment as husband and wife to look at all of their guests together, as it’s very unlikely that they will have the same group of people in one setting again.

Solomon has revealed that they have been granted permission to have the wedding ceremony in the back garden of their new £1.2 million house “Pickle Cottage”.

Swash revealed that he wants lots of photographs to remember the day by, stating that he intends to put a camera on every table so that their guests can take their own pictures.

Known for her organisational skills, Solomon joked, “have you sorted those cameras?”

Solomon once again poked fun at Swash’s lack of organisational skills as he stated that he was going to have two stag dos.

But standing his ground, he invited Holmes to join him in Ibiza where they would be “fighting them [women] off with a stick.”
