Stacey Solomon's kind gesture to staff at Alder Hey

Stacey Solomon has surprised staff at Alder Hey this week. The Loose Women presenter has shared a selfie to her Instagram account surrounded by staff from the West Derby children's hospital.

The presenter regularly shares updates to her large social media following of over six million followers. Earlier this month the mum-of-five jetted off to Las Vegas to watch Adele perform live. Stacey admits when she gets a day off she likes to be at home with home comforts and family so the trip was a different experience for her.

The fun activities at Stacey's Pickle Cottage home are a regular. She often shares DIY hacks, crafts and playtime ideas with fans. Stacey and former EastEnders actor Joe moved into their £1.3million Pickle Cottage home in 2021.

Returning to the UK last week, Stacey has been keeping busy. She recently shared a DIY project where she decorated her own baubles ahead of Christmas. And last night shared a photo from Alder Hey as she was nearby on work duties.

In the post uploaded to her Instagram stories, Stacey shared a post from a staff member at the hospital that read: "Currently working nights at Alder Hey children's hospital in Liverpool tonight and tomorrow on the oncology ward and would love some TLC on my hair xxx"

The TV personality added: "Turns out I was working right next to the children's hospital so dropped some goodies off to the nurses & got to say hi."

Alder Hey is one of Europe's biggest and busiest children's hospitals, they treat everything from common illnesses to highly complex and specialist conditions. It has been such an important part of the city for many years.
