Staff in Masks Greet Visitors to Tokyo Disneyland After Four-Month Shutdown

Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea reopened on July 1, after a four-month closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Footage of the reopened park showed visitors entering the World Bazaar section, with patrons and staff donning facial masks.

The parks’ operator, Oriental Land Co., implemented new social distancing restrictions for visitors. Measures included mandatory facial masks and body temperature checks before entry, shorter park hours, and limited physical access to Disney mascots. Credit: thedisneyzan via Storyful
