Staffordshire country pub back open after £180k makeover
A country pub has reopened after a £180,000 refurbishment. Ye Olde Windmill is on the edge of Gentleshaw Common, in Staffordshire, which is a hotspot for walkers, mountain bikers, and horse riders and boasts stunning views of rolling hills and countryside.
The Windmill Lane venue is listed in the Good Beer Guide and reopened earlier this week. The changes include a new children’s play area and improvements to the bowling green.
Amy Woodhouse has been the general manager at Ye Olde Windmill for the past eight years.
