Stan Lee gets his own Funko Pop! cameo characters

Funko has announced that a brand new range of POP! Vinyls based on Stan Lee's Marvel movie appearances is coming.

As he appears in all the films, there's quite a lot for the toy makers to choose from, but they've managed to whittle it down to three for now – and we want them all.

We're getting Stan's character from Captain America: The First Avenger, where he played a military officer, as well as his museum security guard from Captain America: The Winter Soldier; and he'll also be available in his Guardians of the Galaxy appearance, complete with funky glasses.

All these Marvel POP! Vinyls will be available from Walmart in November, with no UK release announced yet, we're afraid.

Elsewhere in the Marvel universe, there have been "whispers" that the One-Shots might be making a comeback soon.

Thor: Ragnarok writer Eric Pearson, who penned several of Marvel's in-universe short films, has revealed to CinemaBlend it might be an option going forward.

"I have a whole folder full of other One-Shots that I just came up with," he said. "And I was like, 'Oh, this will be a fun 8 to 12 pages!'"

Thor: Ragnarok opens in cinemas on October 24 in the UK and November 3 in the US.
