Yahoo News Stana Katic says she was responsible for "curating" Castle: "I worked very hard"
Ten years after the show first premiered on US television, Stana Katic has suggested that she 'curated' her TV series Castle.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Katic reflected on her time with the drama, in which she played NYPD homicide detective Kate Beckett and was also a producer.
"I feel I'm responsible, in some ways, for curating that show," she said. "I don't know how to explain it. I worked very hard on that show, and I dedicated a good chunk of time to that show."

The Absentia star fronted eight seasons of the CBS crime drama alongside Nathan Fillion, but was reportedly not asked back for a potential ninth season by ABC and ABC Studios.
The series was ultimately not picked up for a ninth year, meaning that Katic appeared in the show's entire run, but she later described the situation as a "harsh ending" to her Castle experience.
Eighteen months on, though, Katic told us that she feels "nothing but gratitude" for the time she spent working on the show. "I worked alongside very talented people, and became more than just colleagues with many of them," she said.
"These are people who I have visited for their weddings, whose houses I have visited to embrace their new-born babies. I have sometimes, unfortunately, gone to family funerals and supported them through it.
"So that being said, the amount of energy that I put into that show, the amount of love and respect that I have for so many of the people that I worked alongside? And then finally the fact that it touched and resonated with so many people across the globe? That it's still something that people express affection for to me? I feel nothing but gratitude.
"That's a real big gift, to be able to offer that to an audience, and to be a part of that. So yeah, I feel chuffed to have been a part of a project that still speaks to people."
