'Your Stance Is Important': Zelensky Gives Virtual Address at Venice Film Festival

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave a virtual address to the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday, August 31, describing Russia’s invasion of his country as a “horror” film that was “not 120 minutes but 189 days-long.”

Zelensky told the audience of actors and filmmakers, “Your stance is important; your voice matters; your word is strong,” adding that they should not “remain neutral to the war in Ukraine”.
