Star-studded comic-con and Lego festival in Gloucester
Some of the stars of some of the country's best known and loved TV and film franchises are making an appearance at a comic-con.
Gloucester Comic-Con takes place on November 23 at the GL1 Sports Centre, and stars on the line-up include the likes of Robert Llewellyn (Kryten from Red Dwarf), Catrin Stewart (Jenny from Doctor Who), Tim Rose (Admiral Akbar, Star Wars), Susan Twist (Doctor Who), and Zippy himself - Ronnie Le Drew.
The event runs for one day only, between 10am and 4pm. Tickets start from £5 and include a variety of props and features, gaming stations, anime content, and more. For those that like cosplay, there will be a wide array of cosplayers on arrival, and fans attending are invited to dress up as their favourite TV, film or other fictional character and be ready to compete in the event's cosplay competitions.

Meanwhile, the following day (Sunday, November 24) at the same venue, the Gloucester Brick Festival will be held between 10am and 4pm. Among numerous attractions will be large-scale displays, speed building competitions, a dedicated building area, and more.
Past festivals have featured displays like a large-scale Mos Eisley Spaceport diorama from Star Wars, and a 30-foot-long Great Ball Contraption. Traders will also be available, selling loose bricks, new and retired Lego sets, minifigures, and accessories.
Tickets for this event cost between £5-£18 and can be purchased here.
