Star Trek: Discovery has finally unveiled the titles of the series' first few episodes to get us all excited ahead of its premiere.

The new CBS/Netflix reboot of the classic franchise is finally hitting the small screen this week, and to give fans a little present they dropped a new teaser video.

Although unfortunately region-locked for some, the official titles for the first four episodes are *drum roll*:

  1. 'The Vulcan Hello'

  2. 'Battle at the Binary Stars'

  3. 'Context is for Kings'

  4. 'The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry'

Things are truly gearing up for the new series as last week we got to listen to the Discovery theme tune for the first time.

Created by Fargo and The Night Of's composer Jeff Russo, the tune pays homage to the original 1960s series.

The brand new series is set a decade before the first and is led by The Walking Dead's Sonequa Martin-Green, as well as Jason Isaacs.

Martin-Green recently explained why the title is Discovery (apart from the fact that the ship shares the same name) – it's because it's all about discovery both in space and within ourselves.

Star Trek: Discovery will premiere on CBS and CBS All Access on Sunday, September 24 at 8.30/7.30c and will be available the following day on Netflix in the UK.
