Not only have Star Trek fans been blessed with the long-awaited arrival of Discovery's second season, Netflix has now also released the series' Short Treks episodes.

You'll have to boldly go where very few have gone before, though.

After completing some space exploration of their very own, Star Trek: Discovery fans discovered that the show's spin-off mini-series can indeed be streamed.

To find the four available episodes, all you need to do is search for 'Star Trek: Discovery' on the streaming service and navigate to a section teasingly-titled 'Trailers & More'.

As well as offering a number of trailers (surprise), Netflix lists 'Runaway', 'Calypso', 'The Brightest Star', and 'Escape Artist', all of which are available to enjoy.

While we may have only just solved this Star Trek spin-off mystery, the iconic franchise is gearing up for yet more sister shows. Well, space is pretty vast, we suppose.

Speaking about Star Trek's future, boss Alex Kurtzman revealed that new shoes are in the pipeline that are "different and unique" to what fans have seen before.

"Our job is to make sure that every time you get a new Star Trek show, it feels like a very different prospect from any other Trek show that exists."

Star Trek: Discovery season 2 is on CBS All Access in the US and lands on Netflix UK today (January 18).
