That's it, we're calling it: the best video of 2017 has arrived, and it features Star Wars: The Last Jedi's John Boyega and Gwendoline Christie.

And it actually has nothing to do with Star Wars.

Yep, Finn and Captain Phasma have teamed up to create one of the finest double acts we think we've ever seen as they take on Vanity Fair's Fear Box.

In this hilarious video, the two are tasked with putting their hands inside a mystery box to touch the likes of an a bearded dragon, an actual snake, moon sand (?) and even Chewbacca himself.

Forget Episode IX, we just want another sequel to Fear Box.

Mind you, we're not too sure John is going to have time to film it – as the actor is already bracing himself for a possible Star Wars overload.

Chatting to Digital Spy at The Last Jedi's European premiere, John revealed that he's not worried about the franchise "burning out" in light of Rian Johnson's upcoming trilogy.

"To a certain extent, there possibly could be [a danger of it burning out], but I feel you've got Rian Johnson at the helm of this story," he told us.

"I'm sure there's quality and a distinct difference between those films and others. Variety is good."

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is available in cinemas across the galaxy right now! What are you waiting for, young padawans?
