This weekend marked the Star Wars Celebration – and we'll be damned if this video of fans recreating Rogue One's final sequence isn't the cutest thing we saw.

Courtesy of Star Wars UK's Twitter account, the video shows a group of cosplayers and fans recreating one of Rogue One's most dynamic scenes: Darth Vader's final battle.

The scene in question follows the rebels as they race away from Lord Vader to get the plans safely to Princess Leia, only – this time – there are some major changes.

In this particular re-enactment, the Death Star plans are replaced with a debit card, while the action is relocated to a lobby somewhere in Orlando's Orange County Convention Center.

Fan videos aside, there was a whole lot of information dropped at this year's event.

The Last Jedi's first trailer and teaser poster premiered, showing – among other things – Rey using the Force, Finn recovering from his injuries at the end of The Force Awakens, plus Poe and BB-8 in danger.

During the convention, it was also revealed that the late Carrie Fisher will sadly not feature in Episode 9.

Carrie's brother Todd recently confirmed both he and the actress's daughter Billie Lourd had given their blessing for Leia (and Carrie) to appear in the movie using footage filmed during the making of The Last Jedi, if Disney and Lucasfilm wanted to.

Also, expect The Last Jedi to unveil a brand new planet.

However, according to director Rian Johnson, things will also get pretty dire – and we really can't work out if that makes us excited or not...
