Starbucks employee lists three awful habits customers should stop immediately
A Starbucks worker spoke candidly about which customers annoy them the most.
They decided to post to Reddit anonymously – so they hopefully wouldn't face any repercussions for their brutal honesty. And it's safe to say they didn't hold back!
In a sweary tirade, they listed the annoying habits they wished people would stop doing when they pop in to get coffee. Apparently, the blunders make baristas feel "infuriated".

So take a look at the list of Starbucks faux pas below and see if you've ever done any of them...
1. Changing orders last minute
If you want to keep your barista on side, stick to the drink you ordered. And when you're at the drive-thru, don't even think about confusing the person at the window with last-minute changes.
On Reddit, the employee asked: “Why do you feel the need to add s*** at the window? It’s so infuriating to have to wait on something you ordered at the window when we could’ve had it ready for you if you ordered at the box.”
2. Not giving your name
Even if you're a regular, it doesn't mean the barista will remember who you are. Countless people walk through the doors of Starbucks each day, after all.
To make things easier – especially when you're picking up an order for collection – be sure to clearly state your name at the counter.
According to the staff member, many customers are prone to driving up to the window and expecting employees to have their items ready for collection at the window, despite providing no information. They implored Starbucks users to “stop, greet, say your name and pull up if the barista says it’s ready”.
3. Not having your payment method ready
Your barista is likely to feel pretty miffed if you get all the way to the end of the queue and then start rifling through your bag to fetch your wallet or purse.
To avoid wasting extra time, focus on what you're doing and have your payment method ready. The Redditor urged: "BE READY! Stop doing your makeup, stop doing your hair, pause on the call, whatever it f***ing is just be ready so we can take your form of payment and you can GO!”
While some may be shocked by the brutal three-step advice, other Starbucks workers backed the barista up. One said: "Number two gets me every time. It's the same people every day that KNOW we need their names that never want to give them."
And another remarked: “Like I understand not having payment ready if the drive thru is empty, but if you’re literally in a line and you’ve been in it more than two minutes, what have you been doing lol”.
